television has been catapulted into prominence due to extraordinary technological advances.Conceding that while technology has reduced the world into a global village it is also fuelling the menace of piracy which is a matter of great concern to the film producers.He also cautioned filmmakers against overuse of technological innovations for doing their work.Describing television as basically a journalistic medium and films as a means of entertaiment,Boney Kapoor said that both film and television productions will go on side by side.Boney Kapoor was happy to know that AAFT alumni are doing good work and that the academy is growing from strength to strength under the stewardship of Prof. Sandeep Marwah.Sridevi too was pleased to learn that the academy has designed and developed a module for the training in Acting & Presentation for the European students who may not be familiar with the Indian languages ,ethos and culture.
