Three days long 6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema closed with the announcing of the results by Shonali Bose, renowned film maker from USA and producer of award winning film AMU in the presence of Karl Bardosh writer Director from USA, Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and festival Director.
Three Different certificates were issued in category Still Picture. The first award went to picture titled THE LIGHT by S.Joseph, second to PLAY WORK WITH SHADOW by Aschie Gupta and third UNITY MAKES WORK FASTER by Preeti Negi.
Special Jury Mention Photo Journalism Award went to INDIA EK AMIR DESH HAI AUR LOG GARIB by Ezaz Ahmed. Special Mention Jury Still Photo went to VAMPHIRE DIASLE by Ambuj Yeadav.
Best Message Still Category awards went to Arun Malik for still titled INFLUENCE OF EDUCATION IN SLUMS, second to Shikhar Galre for DICIPLINE and third prize went to Himanshu Mishra for WHO SAYS THAT NO BODY WANTS TO LEARN.
Best Documentary won by Chanchal D Ray for JUST THINK. Best Public Awareness film went to Deepakmal Gogai for THE JOURNEY and best Music Video to Nitish Shekhar for RAP STARS.
Best Fiction awards went to THE VICTIM by Lefaraz Ferendes, HAPPY BIRTHS DAAY PARI by Anshul Sinha and the first award to Allan Varghese Chandy for CYNICAL.
In total three days consisting of Seminars, inauguration function, cultural programs, screenings and award function together with 563 entries received from 17 countries making this festival the biggest ever in the World.
