ICMEI Celebrates Slovenia Statehood Day at Marwah Studios. Noida, 25th June 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly celebrated the Statehood Day of the Republic of Slovenia at Marwah Studios, Noida. The celebration was marked by warm wishes and cultural camaraderie, reaffirming the deep-rooted friendship between India and Slovenia.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of ICMEI, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Her Excellency Mateja Vodeb Ghosh, Ambassador of Slovenia to India, and to the people of Slovenia on this important national occasion celebrated every year on 25th June. “It gives me immense pleasure to convey our warm wishes to the Ambassador and the people of Slovenia. The relationship between our two nations continues to grow stronger, thanks to our shared values and cultural synergy,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
The Indo Slovenia Film and Cultural Forum, established under the aegis of ICMEI in 2015, has played a pivotal role in promoting cultural diplomacy and creative exchange between the two nations. Since its inception, Slovenia has been an active and valued partner in all of ICMEI’s flagship events. Such as including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week. Global Literary Festival, International Documentary Film Festival, Culinary Shows, Tourism Summits, and more.
This enduring collaboration showcases the mutual commitment of both countries to build a vibrant cultural bridge through film, art, media, and education. ICMEI continues to work closely with the Embassy of Slovenia in India to explore new avenues of cooperation and to strengthen people-to-people ties.
