Dr. Marwah reminisced about the year 1995, when Dr. Ram V. Sutar Ji graciously accepted the role of President of the Asian Academy of Arts at Marwah Studios, lending immense stature, wisdom, and credibility to the institution at a formative stage. “His presence was not symbolic; it was transformational. He guided us with humility, vision, and a rare purity of purpose,” Dr. Marwah said. He further recalled with pride that Dr. Sutar Ji was honored with the prestigious Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Promotion of Art and Culture by Marwah Studios, recognizing his unparalleled contribution to Indian art, sculpture, and cultural heritage. “His creations are not just sculptures; they are living expressions of India’s soul,” Dr. Marwah remarked, referring to Dr. Sutar Ji’s iconic works that stand as symbols of national pride. Adding a deeply personal note, Dr. Marwah spoke about their shared roots at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, where Anil Sutar, son of Dr. Ram V. Sutar Ji, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah studied together. “This bond makes my relationship with the Sutar family even more intimate and emotional. Dr. Sutar Ji was family to us—an elder, a guide, and an inspiration,” he said, visibly moved. Dr. Sandeep Marwah concluded his tribute by stating that while Dr. Ram V. Sutar Ji may no longer be physically present, his legacy will continue to inspire generations of artists, students, and nation builders. “Legends never depart; they become immortal through their work.
