In a magnificent celebration of design, heritage, and diplomacy, the Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum, in proud collaboration with the Embassy of Iran in India Brought the essence of Persian artistry to life at the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week (GFDW) Noida 2025, held at the legendary Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.
Recognized as the world’s largest academic fashion week, GFDW 2025 attracted a distinguished international audience of designers, artists, and diplomats. Organized by the Fashion Committee of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and supported by the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and AAFT School of Interior Designing. Such as the event featured: 200+ eminent designers, 550 fashion-forward garments. 125 visionary interior installations, 9 major fashion shows, 90 dazzling runway rounds, 6 immersive exhibitions, and 9 global culinary showcases

A breathtaking highlight of the Forum’s participation was the debut of designer Shagun Tuteja’s six-piece couture line. Inspired by the iconic Azadi Tower of Tehran—a symbol of freedom and national pride. The garments, crafted in luxurious raw silk adorned with architectural. Geometric motifs, capturing the majestic lines of the Azadi Tower. The serene color palette of whites and Persian blues evoked both spiritual calm and architectural grandeur.
Each ensemble reflected a perfect harmony of structure and grace, designed for the empowered. Modern woman who embraces both cultural legacy and contemporary confidence. Adding to the multisensory cultural experience, a piece of furniture inspired by Iranian artistry was also showcased. This furniture piece echoed Persian geometry and intricate tile work, serving as a tribute to Iran’s legendary craftsmanship and timeless design philosophy.
